Kando [Kan-doh], a Japanese word, describes the intense excitement & deep satisfaction – a beautiful feeling that one experiences when they encounter something wonderful.​

Kando Hospitality was born from a deep passion for creating these Kando moments through meaningful connections who FEEL hospitality and great businesses who prioritise people – their teams and their guests.
Meet Kerry
I genuinely believe that some people are born with the essence of hospitality in their blood and for as long as I can remember, that love of serving, hosting and CONVIVIALITY has been front and centre in my world and has always formed the basis of my career.
After a 15+ year career in hospitality recruitment, 2023/24 saw some massive personal challenges, but try as I may to ‘put hospitality recruitment behind me and forge a new path’, I kept finding myself drawn back to it with nothing else lighting my fire, so to speak.
People and hospitality are my absolute passions and connecting amazing people to amazing businesses, guiding, supporting and cheerleading them through exciting and fulfilling chapters of their careers; and seeing a business flourish as a result – well that’s what give me my Kando.

Sometimes it can be a hop-up-and-down-and-grin-like-an-idiot exciting; and sometimes its gut-wrenching, heart-stopping, big ol’ imposter syndrome terrifying. How ever you’re feeling about it, I'm here to support it and make sure you’re getting it as right as you can.
Can’t help it! I get excited by great people and amazing businesses so a healthy dose of Kando enthusiasm served with every interaction.
How you do anything is how you do everything. Excellence is the aim and whatever the outcome, every interaction with me will be something excellent. A warm chat, some advice, a great connection, or some excellent banter.
